Wall Panels
The function of the wall panel is to be an acoustic and visual barrier to the workstation. The panels are not used to support the writing surfaces.
Workstations incorporate stackable, segmented wall panels configured from open frames equipped with bottom raceways and horizontal midline cable manager. The frames are bolted together to make up the complete surround including corners of 45 degrees, 60 degrees, and 90 degrees. Wall segments of different sizes and material are clipped to the frame to make up the complete wall panel. The segments are easily removable for access to the center of the panels as well as for repair or replacing without disturbing the workstation.
The panels provide a 3″ finished thickness and a 3″ interior cavity with mid and bottom cable distribution. Frames are available in widths of 18″, 24″, 36″, 48″, 54″, and 60″, 37″, 45″, 53″, 61″, 69″, 77″ and 85″. Stackable panel frames can be used to increase the frame height by 8″, 16″ or 24″. Panel segments are available in tackable acoustic, vented steel, laminate and glazed. Acoustic segments have a nominal acoustic rating of .60 NRC.
